Rules
This competition is AHA/BJCP sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer aged 21 or older.
All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or brew on premise operations, etc.).
Entry limit is capped at 600 PAID entries. Your entry is NOT CONFIRMED till it is paid.
Individual entry limit is capped at 10 entries per entrant for first two weeks of entry registration (Sept 14th, 2024 at Midnight) - after which the entry count will be increased to 15 per entrant.
All mailed entries must be received at the shipping destination by the entry deadline - please allow for shipping time.
All entries will be picked up from drop-off locations on the day and time of the entry deadline.
The competition organizers are not responsible for mis-categorized entries, mailed entries that are not received by the entry deadline, or entries that arrive damaged.
The competition organizers reserve the right to combine styles for judging, and to restructure awards as needed, depending upon the quantity and quality of entries.
Qualified judging of all entries is the primary goal of our event. Judges will evaluate and score each entry. The consensus scores will rank each entry in its category. Each flight will have at least one BJCP Certified Judge. We will strive to have at least one BJCP National Judge on each Mini-BOS Panel, and BJCP Master+ Judge on BOS Panel!
Brewers are limited to one entry in each subcategory.
The competition committee reserves the right to combine categories based on number of entries. All possible effort will be made to combine similar styles. All brews in combined categories will be judged according to the style they were originally entered in.
The Best of Show winner will be determined by a Best of Show panel selected from first place winners at each table.
Bottles will not be returned to entrants.
No refund will be provided past September 30th. We reserve the right to subtract any processing fees for any refund requested prior to September 30th.

Entry Acceptance Rules
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 3
Each entry will consist of three 12 ounce capped bottles (or other containers) that are void of all identifying information, including labels and embossing. Other containers are acceptable (for example, 8oz bottles for high ABV meads or ciders) but 12 ounce bottles are preferred.
Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely.
Entries will not be returned to contest entrants.
Entry labels can be printed from the competition website and should be attached to bottles with a rubber band only (glue and/or tape are unacceptable).
Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the Judges scoring of your entry.
